Basegrove is discontinued

After careful consideration, we have discontinued Basegrove.
Basegrove was a bootstrapped venture focused on helping organisations measure, reduce, and report their environmental impact with accuracy, clarity, and transparency. In a demanding market, we could not sustainably deliver the product and support standards we wanted for our customers without compromising on quality or focus. Rather than dilute the experience, we chose to close the product while it still served customers well.
What Basegrove achieved
- Served 50+ customers, primarily in Berlin and Austin, with additional teams across Europe and other regions.
- Delivered tools for environmental impact measurement, reduction planning, and reporting, with an emphasis on transparency and auditability.
- Operated as a privacy-conscious, lean, bootstrapped product built by a small, mission-driven team.
What this means
As of August 2026:
- All Basegrove domains have been closed.
- The cloud product is no longer available.
- All existing customers have been transitioned to a lifetime, free on-premise version that runs on their own infrastructure.
- All customer deployments are now fully on-premise; no data is hosted or processed by Basegrove or Vaan Corporation.
Support for existing customers
If you are an existing Basegrove customer running the on-premise solution:
- Your deployment is self-hosted and self-controlled; your data remains entirely within your environment.
